Hovhannes Tumanyan was born on February 19, 1869 in the village of Lorva Dsegh[7]. In 1877-1879, Tumanyan studied at Dseghi parish school. In 1879-1883, he studied at the newly opened bisexual school in Jalaloglu (now Stepanavan) [9]. He lived in Tiflis since 1883. In the years 1883-1887, he studied at the Nersisyan School in Tiflis, but due to the difficult financial situation, in 1887 he left his studies halfway, and worked in the Armenian Church Court of Tiflis, then in the office of the Armenian Publishing Union (until 1893). Since 1893, he worked for «Aghbyur», «Murch», «Hasker», «Horizon» literary periodicals.
