Interviewer: Hello, Dan.

Dan: Hi.

Interviewer: Can you tell me about a typical day in your life for the school magazine?

Dan: Yeah, sure.

Interviewer: So, what time do you get up?

Dan: Oh, I get up very early. I get up every day at 5 o’clock and go to the pool. Then I swim from 6 o’clock to 8 o’clock.

Interviewer: You get up at 5 o’clock? Wow, that’s early!

Dan: Yeah. Then at 8 o’clock I have a shower, I get dressed and I have breakfast. I have a big breakfast: cereals, toast, bacon and eggs and orange juice.

Interviewer: What do you do after breakfast?

Dan: At 11 o’clock I go to university. I’m studying sports science and I have classes from 11 o’clock to 4 o’clock.

Interviewer: When do you have lunch?

Dan: I have lunch at about 2 o’clock at the university.

Interviewer: What do you do after classes?

Dan: Sometimes I go to the gym and sometimes I meet my friends at a café.

Interviewer: What time do you have dinner?

Dan: I have dinner at 7 o’clock, then I watch TV or go online and I usually go to bed at 10 o’clock.

Two children, a brother and a sister go to school. There is a forest on their way to school. Suddenly the boy says to his sister: «We have much time, let’s go to the forest and play there».

The girl wants to go into the forest too. So they put their books on the grass and go into the forest. They see a squirrel. The boy says:

«Little squirrel, come and play with us”.

«I have no time”, says the squirrel. “I must get nuts. I must get ready for the winter. I cannot play with you.”

Then the children see a bee. The boy says:

“Little bee, come and play with us”.

“I have no time”, says the bee. “I must make honey. I cannot play with you.”

The dove says: “ I cannot play with you. I have no time. I must make a nest for my babies.”

Nobody wants to play with the children.

So they go to the river. They say to the river,”You don’t work. You come and play with us”.

But the river says: “I cannot play with you.  I work all day. I give water to the fields. I give water to the flowers. I give water to the squirrel, to the bee,  to the dove and to girls and boys like you. Go away. You go to school.”

The children go to school. On the way home, they go into the forest again.

The squirrel says to the children:

“Work is over. School is over. Let’s play now.”

The bee says,”Work is over. School is over. Come and play with me now.”

We celebrate the New Year on December 31. My brother and I decorate the Christmas tree with the help of my mother. We are eating a Christmas cake. We receive gifts from Santa Claus. We have fun all night, we love this holiday.

The winter months are: December, January, February.  English people celebrate Christmas on the 25^th of December. They love this holiday very much. They buy Christmas presents for their families. They send Christmas cards to their relatives and friends. They decorate the Christmas tree. It is bright and beautiful. They put their presents under the tree. Children put their stockings on the chair. At night Santa Claus comes and puts presents in their stockings. They eat Christmas pudding or Christmas cake. 

Armenians celebrate Christmas on the 6^th of January. We see the New Year in on the 31 of December.
